Interview with @_jaimeeliu1027_
1. What inspired you to become an artist? Was Taylor Swift or her music part of that inspiration?
I started drawing when I was 5 , but I truly fell in love with when I began drawing Taylor.
2. Which Taylor Swift piece are you most proud of creating? Why does this piece stand out to you?
I really love the drawing in which I included many cats from Taylor’s albums, because I spent almost 30 hours thinking about how to draw them, and I feel so proud that I finally finished it
3. Was there a specific song or moment that sparked your Taylor Swift fandom?
Yes, when I listen to her song ‘Enchanted’ I instantly fell in love with her
4. Which Taylor Swift album holds a special place in your heart, and why?
Taylor Swift’s Fearless is my favorite. I received it on vinyl record for my birthday, and it was my fist vinyl record ever.
5. Do you have three favorite Taylor Swift songs? If so, what makes each of them meaningful to you?
1.The very first night 2.Enchanted 3.London boy. My favorite one is “The very first night “ I don’t know why but I really love the lyrics
6. Is there a lesser-known Taylor track that you feel deserves more recognition from fans?
One lesser-known Taylor Swift track that I think deserves more recognition is “The Best Day” from her 2008 album Fearless. It’s a deeply personal and heartfelt song about her relationship with her mother, and it captures that feeling of unconditional love and gratitude in a way that’s really tender
7. How has Taylor influenced your art style or creative process? Are there particular themes or eras that inspire you most?
Taylor Swift has had a huge influence on my creative process, especially when it comes to capturing emotion and storytelling. When it comes to specific eras, I find myself drawn to the “Red” era a lot.
8. When did you first listen to Taylor, and what was that experience like?
I was in kindergarten and we danced to“ shake it off “ it was a funny experience
9. Have you attended Taylor concerts? If so, please tell us about it!
No unfortunately I haven;t had a chance yet. However, I will definitely see her live one day!
1o. What are your hopes for Taylor’s next album? Do you think Taylor might return to her country roots, or are you more excited for her to continue evolving her sound? Any genres or themes you’d love her to explore?
I’m really excited to see what Taylor will do next, because she’s always evolving and pushing her own boundaries. It’s one of the things I love most about her music. As much as I have a soft spot for her country roots (especially from albums like Fearless and Red), I think Taylor’s growth into pop, indie-folk, and even alternative sounds has allowed her to explore so many more aspects of her creativity. So, while I’d love to see some nods to her country roots, I’m honestly more excited to see how she’ll continue to evolve her sound
11. How do you connect with the Swiftie community as a fanfluencer, and what’s been your most memorable interaction with fans?
I sing her songs on my Instagram account in reels (I play her songs on guitar), and I collab with other Swifties by going live.
12 Do you collaborate with any other fanfluencers or artists that you’d like to give a shout-out to?
Yes, I have collaborated with two swifties, it’s super cool!
13. What aspect of Taylor’s journey or artistry do you think fans should pay more attention to?
One aspect of Taylor Swift’s journey and artistry that I think fans should pay more attention to is her evolution as a businesswoman and advocate for artist rights. She’s been very vocal about issues in the music industry, from advocating for fair compensation for artists to taking a stand against the control that major record labels can have over musicians’ work.
14. If you had the chance to meet Taylor backstage, what would you want to talk to her about or ask her?
I really want to give her my favorite artwork and see whether she likes it!
15. Do you have a favorite lyric that inspires your artwork?
”l miss you like it was the very first night “
16. What’s the most rewarding part of creating art inspired by Taylor Swift?
There are many comments praising my artwork under my Instagram posts
